 EU Directives

Epsilon specializes in the highlighted Directives, but have had experience with other Directives and will be happy to help you with any enquiry (even if it's just pointing you to another company that can help you!)

Directives are (normally) Mandatory Requirements put on supplier of equipment to Europe. Directives are made a legal requirement by each Member State Country. Directives can be specified or applied (by the term CE Marking) outside of the EU as a contract specification rather than a legal requirement. For more information on CE and how Directives are applied, click this article: 'A Guide to CE Marking'.

Directives are in two sections, CE Directives (required for CE Marking if your product is within the scope of the Directive) and other EU Directives that cover general issues such as noise limits, product disposal and general product liability...ALL manufacturers wishing to put products on the European Market should be aware of the general Directive.
