 STANDARDS
In this section you will find the current list of Standards used for ATEX in accordance with the Official European Journal. Please note that 'Date of cessation of presumption of conformity of  superseded standard' is Euro-speak for 'after this date if you have not re-certified to the new Standard your product is no longer compliant with ATEX and thus should not be put on the European market (for potentially explosive atmospheres).

The section is divided:

Please note that from July 2007, Standards Updates and Changes will be posted in the On-Line Compliance Management System.

 Current ATEX Standards

Summary list of titles and references of harmonised standards under Directive 94/9/EC for ATEX

The information contained in the summary list is a compilation of the references of standards which have been published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
Although the lists are updated regularly, they may not be complete and they do not have any legal validity; only publication in the Official Journal produces legal affect.
